Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain components within the Data Integration Infrastructure team
Research new requirements and propose solutions based on technical options, scope, and risk
Engage with support engineers to analyze, identify, and fix issues and bottlenecks at customer sites
Ensure that deliverables meet requirements and recommend alternatives where appropriate
Employ test-driven development practices including unit tests
Document specifications and other relevant technical content as necessary
Communicate with engineering management and team leaders on task prioritization, scheduling, and coordination
Collaborate and coordinate with other team members on all aspects of the process including API and interface standards, user experience, architectural design, implementation, testing, and documentation

Education Requirement
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistical Analysis, Mathematics or related discipline is required
Advanced degree preferred


Required Skills and Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience working on a commercial software product
Minimum 8 years of experience as a hands-on developer
Mastery of C#/.NET Core is necessary, a working knowledge of Java/Go is a plus
3 or more years’ experience using Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure
Familiarity in producing software components implemented as microservices in a Kubernetes environment
Domain and technical experience in the area of data access via web APIs to social media and/or web-based data sources such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. is preferred
Domain and technical experience in the area of databases, data formats and protocols, and data access using data and integration technologies/APIs such as ODBC, JDBC, REST, XML, JSON, etc. is a plus
Practical platform experience providing ability to consider implementation tradeoffs and make independent decisions to optimize CPU, disk, memory, network utilization
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with Agile development methods and iterative planning
