Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a frontend focus to be a key contributor in building a next-generation portal. As an integral member of a cross-functional team, you will partner with fellow engineers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to create a critical configuration tool that simplifies setup and management processes.
A proactive mindset is vital to thriving in this role, particularly when spotting opportunities for platform enhancements and driving forward-looking innovations.
Key Responsibilities
– Frontend Development: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, user-friendly interface for a study management portal.
– Collaboration: Work hand in hand with UX designers, backend engineers, and end-users to ensure a seamless user experience.
– Quality & Ownership: As a senior engineer, uphold the highest standards of code quality, maintainability, and testability.
– Engineering Culture: Contribute to a robust engineering environment by sharing knowledge, refining best practices, and continuously improving processes.
Required Skills & Experience
– Frontend Mastery: Expertise in fundamental technologies and architecture, including the ability to craft clean, maintainable code.
– Collaboration & Design Systems: Proven ability to work effectively with UX designers and to both implement and utilize design systems.
– Testing Acumen: Practical experience with various testing levels—unit, component, and end-to-end.
– Security & Authentication: Familiarity with authentication flows and identity providers (IdPs).
Tech Stack
– Frontend: HTTP, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, Tailwind
– Backend: REST APIs, Node.js, OpenAPI Specifications, JSON Schema, document-based databases (preferred), relational databases (beneficial), Docker, Kubernetes
Strong foundational software engineering skills and a willingness to quickly learn new technologies are highly valued.
Additional Information
– Onsite Work: A minimum of three days per week onsite is required.
– Language: Proficiency in English is essential for written and verbal communication.
