Responsibilities
With us you will be a crucial part in the process of producing high quality software with the correct functionality for our components and drivetrain systems. Our team strives for a highly automated and re-usable SW test environment securing an effective and efficient verification and validation process, we are at about 95% full automation level today. 

You will be a part of our core team with responsibility for continuous improvement in test architecture, common components configuration and re-usability strategy, and test strategies. To achieve quick feedback on quality of the software you will work together with the SW architect and developers with agile methods and improve the CI/CT process. Collaboration on a global scale within BorgWarner is also important to enable competence growth for our team in the pursuit of excellence. 

Qualifications
Personal traits
You are a curious and dedicated person who likes a work environment with high tempo, many interfaces, and many challenges. You are comfortable working independently as well as cooperating with colleagues inside and outside the team. To be successful as a team we need members with drive and initiative!

Experience and competence
You can either have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a software developer and a MSc or BSc degree in Computer Engineering or similar Engineering degree or you are a senior developer with several years’ experience as a software developer and in that case your experience is more important than your university degree.

• Excellent programming skills in embedded C development
• Experience of embedded systems software testing
• Programming skills, experience in CAPL, Python, and Vector tools preferred
• Good system knowledge and understanding, experience in automotive systems preferred
• Experience in Agile development methods is also preferred

High proficiency in English is a requirement and it is a plus if you know Swedish as well or would like to learn.
