Senior Standard Engineer Telecom

Our client in Stockholm is looking for a Senior Standard Engineer on 3GPP RAN WG1, for start in the spring 2007: Job Description: . Active participation in 3GPP TSG RAN WG1, the key standard group of WCDMA air interface protocol and procedure. . Responsibilities include writing and promoting related contribution in standard meeting, tracking air interface standard progress, reporting of standard group status and decisions. . Provide guidance for research team based on standard progress . Supporting technical communication with operators about Huawei Technical view and standard activities. . Cooperating with other Huawei organizations involved in research and product development. . The position is located at Huawei Sweden AB in Kista, Stockholm, and requires international travelling to attend company and standardization meetings. Essential Skills required: . MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. . Minimum four years research experience in relevant areas with outstanding records (publications and patents). . Substantial experience in 3GPP standardization work is preferable. . Good verbal and writing skills in English. . Good communication skills. Beneficial: .
