SENIOR SW DESIGNER - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior SW Designer and Developer accelerate the development of next generation Telematics and Connectivity platform, enabling “On-Call” functionality.
The work will comprise of design, development, verification and optimization of the software.
What you'll do:
● Responsible for design, development, optimization and verification of software in next generation In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, that is Telematics SW and connectivity.
● Collaborating with other developers/teams in other geos, reporting of status and progress in JIRA and daily stand-up meetings.
● Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs and make testing and evaluating new programs.
● Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
● Be a part of Connected Software Development group, which is responsible for design, development, optimization, and verification of software in next generation systems.
● Work closely with project managers, UX designers, other developers, systems analysts, graphic artists, and sales and marketing professionals.
● Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications.
Who you are:
● Have a Master degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar.
● Technical experience with C/C++ (C++ preferred), Embedded Linux, Linux tool chain (bash, git, Gerrit, Jenkins), Agile SW development.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language, however, preference will be given to Swedish language.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
