Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior System and Database Admin to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Administer and maintain databases for BI, CRM, and ERP systems, ensuring efficient design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Implement data security measures, perform regular backups, and plan for disaster recovery.
Design scalable database architectures to support business growth and increasing data volumes.
Install, configure, and maintain BI, CRM, and ERP systems while monitoring and optimizing system performance.
Ensure system security, compliance with regulations, and manage user accounts and permissions.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
Collaborate with developers to optimize database designs and implement best practices for database coding and stored procedures.
Identify and resolve performance issues in BI, CRM, and ERP systems, ensuring high availability and efficient query performance.
Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
Optimize database licensing, hardware resources, and operational costs through automation and best practices.
Align database and system architectures with business objectives and provide technical expertise for decision-making.
Plan for future technology upgrades and adoption to ensure scalability and efficiency.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in system and database administration, with a focus on BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
Strong expertise in database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Experience with data warehousing, integration tools, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with BI, CRM, and ERP platforms (e.g., Qlik Sense, Salesforce, Jeeves).
Proficiency in SQL query writing, database design, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred skills:
Certifications in database administration or related IT fields.
Experience with scripting languages such as VBA, Python, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
