Kockums stands for leading-edge, world-class naval technology - above and below the surface.We design, build and maintain submarines and naval surface vessels that incorporate the most advanced stealth technology.Other successful products include Mine Countermeasure Systems, Working boats and Fast Ferries in our world leading composite technology.We are based in Karlskrona, Malmö and Muskö in Sweden.Kockums is part of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems.Intelligence & Electrical Systems - Business Unit Surface Ship Intelligence field includes management, sensor and weapon systems for surface vessels and marine communications and navigation systems for civil and marine surface vessels.Sensor may consist of radar systems and underwater sensors in the form of sonar.Electrical field includes automation, fire alarm and electrical power for civil and marine surface vessels.Main accountabilities *Analysis and specification of systems, subsystems, functions and services which form the basis for systems design and integration of these with other systems *Follow up suppliers, which means for example to monitor the suppliers system development *Use of a database for requirement analysis and specification work.Requirements decomposition *Ensure coordination and compliance with various proposals / projects *Investigation work of various kinds *Testing of everything from theoretical analysis of principles to testing of equipment at sea *Processing of technical procurement information *Conducting training, both internally and externally Qualification Profile Requirements *A minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering *A minimum of five years experience working in design of complex structures and systems from relevant technical fields *Experience of classification societies such as DNV, RMS *Good knowledge in Swedish Maritime Administration's (SMA) laws and regulations *Good knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD tools *Good written and oral skills in Swedish and English *Good knowledge of MS Office programs Meritorious *Experience of international laws and regulations in the technical field *Knowledge of the German language *Experience in working with people from different cultures Personal Qualifications Profile *Structured and meticulous *Flexible and service minded *Good communication and teaching skills *Analytical *Creative and driven *Good cooperation skills Contact and application: In this recruitment Hudson Global Resources is responsible for selection of candidates.To be registered in Hudson's database means that we might contact you in the future, regarding an assignment that might be of interest for you.All information concerning you, will of course be handled confidentially and in accordance with PuL (The Personal Data Act).
