Main accountabilities *Development of new concepts in the CSC, Composite Superstructure Concept *Development of new concepts in CarboCAT *Handle class and flag state issues *Development and preparation of technical documentation for classification, flag state and production *Support production during construction and outfitting process *Development and management of lines, weight and stability *Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of speed, endurance and seaworthiness *Monitoring and analysis of structural calculations and arrangements *Manage the database for requirements analysis and specification work *Fulfillment of specifications, quality and other standards, schedule, budget/costs *Ensure coordination and fulfillment of proposals / projects Qualification Profile Requirements *A minimum of Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture or Marine Systems *A minimum of ten years experience working in shipbuilding *Good knowledge in hydrodynamics, structural mechanics or equivalent *Knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD tools *Good knowledge in relevant analytical tools *Good knowledge in Swedish Maritime Administration's (SMA) laws and regulations *Experience of classification societies such as DNV *Good spoken and written skills in Swedish and English language *Good knowledge of MS Office programs Meritorious *Marine experience *Experience of working with composite materials *Experience of international laws and regulations in the field *Knowledge of the German language *Experience in working with people from different cultures Personal Qualifications Profile *Structured and meticulous *Flexible and service minded *Good communication and teaching skills * Analytical *Creative and driven *Independent *Good interpersonal skills Contact and application: In this recruitment Hudson Global Resources is responsible for selection of candidates.To be registered in Hudson's database means that we might contact you in the future, regarding an assignment that might be of interest for you.All information concerning you, will of course be handled confidentially and in accordance with PuL (The Personal Data Act).
