Senior Test Engineer

Do you have an eye for quality and functionality? Would you like to make money pointing out others' mistakes? Awesome, then we might have a match! We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our Content Engineering team.
The position
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will join our small but experienced team to continue shaping and developing the leading streaming service in the Nordics. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the quality of the team’s deliveries and continuously work on enhancing our QA process, automated as well as manual, to ensure fast and high-quality content delivery. You will be the one closing the loop by defining scenarios for testability prior to development and ensuring that quality is maintained as new features are developed and released.
The challenge ahead
Nordic Entertainment Group has a strong history of fast and reliable streaming services in Viaplay and Viafree, and forthcoming we’re not gonna be any different. To be able to stay at the forefront of entertainment, a high-quality streaming experience is crucial. This is where you enter the picture! Whilst working with other highly motivated and fun colleagues within our only Java team, you will be the one responsible for the functional, as well as manual testing of new features, regression testing of releases in order to make sure specific functionality and API’s connected to the system are working correctly. Since you will be our only test resource within the team, we see you guiding your developer colleagues in testing efforts and development of testing suites that you will design and have ownership of. Your daily challenges will include:
Manual, as well as automated testing
Writing test cases.
Taking ownership of the QA process and constantly refine it.
Troubleshooting and identifying root causes.

For the position as Senior Test Engineer, we are looking for an outgoing individual that is up for the challenge! Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements:
Degree from higher vocational university.
At least 5 Years of experience within automated and manual testing.
Dedication to unit testing, UI-testing and other quality-oriented practices.
Enthusiasm for great system quality and an eye for details.
As a person, you are self-going and structured.

Bonus requirements:
Experience from streaming services.
Experience working with software development.
