Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Textile Engineer – Interior Materials Development to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Lead the development of textile materials used in areas such as wall trims, headliners, bunks, and curtains
Drive innovation and application of new material technologies from early research phases to product implementation and maintenance
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure textile solutions meet performance, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements
Contribute to product and system roadmaps by providing expert input on textile materials
Develop and deliver training to internal teams on textile materials and their applications
Define and document material data and manufacturing specifications to support business and product objectives
Act as the subject matter expert for high-complexity areas within materials engineering

What you bring:
A degree in textile engineering or a related field
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in textile development or materials engineering
Proven ability to lead materials development projects and drive them from concept to implementation
Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and material performance characteristics
Experience working with interior components such as trims, headliners, and soft furnishings is an advantage
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and disciplines
