Senior UX DESIGNER
About the role
At Fenix Outdoor Group we are obsessed with our users (consumers). Our digital direct-to-consumer team needs a Senior UX Designer to help us take this user-centricity to the next level.
As Senior UX Designer you should enjoy working hands-on with UX processes and tasks. You will find our UX Designer developing the user experience and online user journeys based on brand experience ecosystem strategy and digital value propositions. They will develop our digital products in a way that ensures ease of use and the users’ needs intrinsically embedded into the design. The Senior UX Designer will drive and integrate the UX process into every digital product development and digital project within our Brands division (as in our methods, processes and tools).
As with any level of digital transformation, we are measured by the adoption and mindset of our business teams. Part of the work is ensuring our UX process goes beyond just methods, process and tools and becomes second-nature to our organization’s people.

This full-time role is located in Stockholm, SE. You will report to our Head of Digital Strategy for our Brands division, Dancho Nestorov.
What you’ll do
Job responsibilities:
Work closely with our Brand Experience team, UI/visual designers, content creators, eComm managers and product owners to develop user experience strategy
Lead end-to-end user journeys & analysis on digital touchpoints
Define problems, truly understand users, generate tasks, user flows and story boards
Lead and execute interaction design, from low fidelity sketches to wireframes and clickable prototypes and work with senior content creators and UI/visual designers to develop designs
Drive improvements in information architecture on brand websites & experience platforms, securing business alignment
Deliver highly usable digital products with the right balance of technical and design excellence
Understand customers struggles, validate ideas with internal and external users during research phase and conduct user tests
Identify opportunities to improve conversion and engagement with digital analysts, eComm managers and product owners
Develop hypotheses and scenarios for A/B tests with our Digital Analyst
Create user stories and requirement specifications toward the product team (content, functionality, UI placement)
Drive a strong mobile-first approach

Who you are
Requirements:
You have 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a good understanding of UX strategy and a developed technical affinity.
Knowledge of industry tools such as Figma, Adobe CC (XD), Framer, Frontify is must.
You consider yourself an expert in interaction design and information architecture.
You have held several UX design roles, either as a user researcher, UI designer, interaction designer or front-end developer.
You have a user centric mindset and are customer obsessed; focusing on creating value for users, and love to create intuitive and useful solutions to solve problems our users face.
You have internal drive & confidence to make great things happen and to drive change; the UX skill strength is only part of this position, you’ll also need to be capable of explaining UX strategy and driving it toward adoption.
You’ve worked with a mobile-first approach and mobile responsive design.
You have experience working agile and you have an agile approach to working.
You have no problem working with stakeholders (both internal and external) from different areas of the business.
You are able to translate your expert knowledge into meaningful, interest-level-appropriate and convincing presentations for leadership and interested parties.
You are analytical with a creative approach, you love to explore and challenge truths through data and testing.
If you have experience from a change of eComm platform this is a BIG plus.
