Senseair is a global, high technology industry that develops and manufactures air sensor solutions for carbon dioxide (CO2) and alcohol. The company has operations in Sweden, Germany, USA and China.
Senseair actively works with two of the most challenging problems in society today: reliable alcohol screening and poor air quality.
In April 2018, Asahi Kasei Group bought the company and has chosen to invest in the Swedish business. Today about 170 employees work nationally within the company distributed over Delsbo, Kista and Västerås. Internationally Senseair can be found in Chengdu, Chicago and Dusseldorf.

About the role
As a Component Engineer at Senseair you will be responsible to have compliance documentation in place for our products, as well for products under development, as for existing products.
Senseair is using a component database called Green Data Exchange provided by Q Point Technology to handle the environmental clearance of material. You will administrate the tasks appointed in the database.
You will support the organisation with regulatory and customer compliance tasks, like substance assessments and collection of supplier declarations. This also includes providing internal training and assistance with compliance issues, primarily with EU environmental directives such as RoHS, REACH and WEEE.
You will work as a part of a team together with development engineers and purchasers to ensure that we have a way of working to support that our products fulfil the requirements.
Education, experience & personal qualities
Mandatory skills
• Relevant academic background or equivalent
• Experience of work with technical/legislation documentation for products or equivalent
• Experience in international or EU legislation in environment field such as Reach/RoHS and WEEE directive
• Material knowledge
• Good knowledge in technical documentation and communication
• Fluent in English, both verbal and writing






Desirable skills
• Knowledge about electronic components and printed circuit boards
• A background in chemistry
• Knowledge in quality system and standard like ISO and automotive standard IATF16949


To succeed in this role, you have a structured way of working with a large documentation focus. You are self-operated and strive to understand Senseairs products to ensure successful deliveries. You enjoy working in an international environment. Furthermore, you contribute to good relations both internally and externally, and you identify improvement areas in the team.

Salary: According to agreement
