Profile of person required
.Natural' trouble shooter/ problem solver
.Experience and knowledge of following:
Windows 2000/2003
Server Technology
Networking (TCP/IP)
RAID and Storage Technologies
N+ ( not essential)
Linux ( not essential)
.May be coming from desktop support ( this is natural progression)
.Inherent interest in technology, keeping up to date, experimenting etc
.Team player
.Good Customer care background, Call centre experience would be a bonus
.Good command of English, both verbal and written.
.Good command of primary language required for the country to which candidate will support
Main Responsibilities
.Validating customer entitlements and giving first level technical support through information gathering, analytical trouble shooting and problem research
.Logging and validating incoming contacts on the call handling system as required.
.Resolving customer issues using the tools and systems available.
.Escalating issues, when necessary, while retaining ownership of issue
.Observing strict compliance to licensing, copyright and trademark legislation.
.Protects confidential, sensitive information and materials.
Remuneration
.Market Competitive salary -30k per annum
