The group 97865 Emission Engineering consists of 13 dedicated persons with different background and different age. The variety of tasks handled by the group is broad. Handle investment projects within 97800 Powertrain Laboratories from start until finalization. Support, maintain, calibrate and service instrumentation, computer equipment and software related to emission testing. Our other daily tasks are to support 97860 Emission Laboratory with calculations, education, technical know-how and also to perform correlation testing within the lab.
Job Description:
In a documented way perform maintenance, calibrations, quality checks of emission test equipment from various suppliers
Perform troubleshooting of emission test equipment from various
suppliers
To support our internal customers with technical input, training
To support the investment projects with technical input to
specifications, perform quality checks and establish testing procedures
Constantly improve working processes and maintenance routines
To keep communication with our foreign and local suppliers through the agreed communication channels
Profile Qualifications (not sorted in order of importance):
Minimum Bachelor Engineering degree or similar
Experience from working with analysis equipment or similar
instrumentation
Experience form electrical-, electronical-, process- troubleshooting
Fluent in English, verbal and written form
Analytical skills
Ability to urge for given results
Ability to take large own responsibilities
Ability to work in teams
Good communication skills
MS Office, Lotus Notes, Linux
Competence in automotive emission regulations
Competence and interest in calculations
Knowledge in the area of Engine Exhaust Emission Analysis
