Service engineer

Arbetsbeskrivning

Job description & Mission
We are looking for you, who wants to specialize in "the heart" of all drilling equipment - the rock drill.
Your work includes being part of the development of new rock drills, the improvement of already existing machines and educating SC:s and customers in the use and preventive maintenance as well as repair of the machines.
During the design phase you will work closely with our designers in a project group. During this phase you will have the opportunity to influence the product and ensure the rock drill is optimally designed from a service and user perspective.
During the introduction period you will be responsible for training of involved personnel, either in the training center in Örebro, or in local SC:s. You will also be on "stand by" to support the SC:s if/when technical support is needed. You will be working according to the “Quality Service” concept, hence making preventive service/overhauls at recommended intervals instead of waiting for a break-down.
You will also be involved in the development of steering/ monitoring systems for both underground and surface drilling.
Furthermore, when you are situated in the office, you will, together with the team be responsible for the WOL and ACING systems, thus handling technical claims and questions. Creating and following up on TSNB, and picking out statistics from different systems. You will also be responsible for having the correct information in the technical documentation. You will also be participating in our weekly FS meetings during which we report on the current field situation.

Educational requirements & experience
We are looking for you who has extensive technical background. If you also have practical experience with our products and applications it is meritorious.
Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking is a must - similar knowledge in other languages is beneficial.
You will have to be prepared to travel approximately 50 -100 days a year. Some travels might last 2-3 weeks.
