IT Services is currently undertaking an extensive change process.The intention now is to strengthen the organisation with a business-motivated, results-oriented key individual working for the success of this process within one or several of the relevant service areas as a Service Manager.This full-time position is based in Sandviken, Sweden but there can be travel to other geographical regions.Key performance areas The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that his/her service area responds successfully to customers' requirements and that IT Services consequently becomes the self-evident choice of supplier.The person in this position understands the business factors that are important to customers at the same time as he/she functions as a cost-focussed specification definer, both in-house and externally.Sensitivity to views and impressions from customers, the business management function and systems developers is a must.The ability to communicate and make priorities among the wishes of all the stakeholders will make it possible to supply clear, well-defined, competitive services.This position bears responsibility for the entire product life cycle including competitive intelligence as well as continuous development of the service area. Your profile The successful candidate will have a university degree within a relevant field and previous experience of working within service supply at strategic level.It is vital that you understand IT from a business perspective.Experience of work with supplier specifications, budget responsibility, service ownership or service packaging is an advantage, as is international experience of project management. In order to be successful in this service you must be results and service-oriented and sensitive to customer wishes.You are a structured person who enjoys planning work and you find it easy to cooperate with others.You think in a strategic manner and apply a broad perspective to issues.You see the long-term importance and consequences of an action and adapt your operations accordingly.You understand and apply businesslike principles and focus on costs, revenues and efficiency from a financial perspective.As work as a Service Manager means many contacts inside and outside the company we consider the ability to establish and develop a network to be extremely important.You have the ability to create customer confidence at the same time as you are clear and straightforward in your communication.You enjoy working in an independent manner and achieving results at the same time as you are a loyal employee of the Service Management Team and the Sandvik organisation.In addition it is essential that you have good knowledge of the English language, knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.W43 Invitations to interviews W44 Interviews W45 Appointment
