What about the job
As Service Manager, you’re responsible for efficient delivery of network related services - in line with deliverables and service levels as well as with applicable targets and strategies. You make sure we have service operations that drives a competitive advantage for Sandvik Group, and you do this by ensuring supplier performance and coordination, and by providing relevant service reporting. You also manage tactical planning for service delivery, estimate costs and act as a point of escalation for any operational issues that may occur.
To drive further success in this field, you contribute in restoring service operations triggered by production environment issues or service outages, analyzing the root cause to underlying problems and evaluating supplier performance. You’re also an important link between our customers and the operations team, where you make sure we deliver on expectations and agreed services.
Your home office is in either Sandviken or Kista, with presence in Sandviken required on a regular basis. Some planned travel, both domestic and international, is part of the job.
Your background and character
For this job, we’re looking for an IT professional with extensive experience from managing infrastructure related services – someone who is used to coordinating suppliers, services and technology in order to secure a reliable and cost-effective service portfolio. You have previous experience from service development, outsourced services and financial management, as well as strong process knowledge. You have an excellent ability to lead and inspire people and you’re skilled in stakeholder interactions. A relevant IT degree is of course beneficial, and as we work in a global business, you need to be fluent in English while skills in Swedish are a plus.
You’re known as an analytical thinker with a structured and calm approach – a person who truly enjoys complex problem-solving. On the other hand, you’re also skilled at networking and collaborating with customers and stakeholders, and you know how to explain technical matters to the broader organization. Your communication style is very inspiring, and you’re confident, driven and result-oriented as you make things happen for our team.
