IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Service Managers to People & Culture IT Solutions

The group People & Culture IT Solutions supports Scania with Human Resources (HR) IT-solutions, covering the whole lifecycle, from requirement analysis to implementation and production. Scania’s business is changing over time, and we are on a journey of phasing out older applications and implementing new technology. We are replacing local solutions with a global way of working and a more consistent application landscape.

Globalization, digitalization and mobility are examples of trends that are affecting our business environment. We are moving towards SAP SuccessFactors, SaaS and AWS in our IT landscape.

We are now looking for two new colleagues in the Service Management team who wants to help us on our transition to digital, agile and future proof modern solutions and broaden her/his knowledge within the business area of People & Culture (P&C).

Your work assignment

You’ll be part of a team of six service managers, where each of the team members has a responsibility area, but also a shared application portfolio of various P&C applications. We are now looking for 2 new colleagues to primarily handle the Safety & Health and the Academy area.

As an IT Service manager, you will be the main point of contact for the business stakeholders and will coordinate with several IT service delivery organizations to support your business. You will create a roadmap for your area/applications - including potential digitalisation initiatives, handle supplier contacts and IT budget.

You will also continue to drive the change towards an agile way of working together with P&C and work actively to support and guide your business partners based on Scania’s values and agile principles.

Your profile

You are a service minded leader with an agile mindset. You are willing to learn and explore new areas and would like to develop your leadership skills.

Skills and personality traits:


• Experience of IT support and maintenance
• General IT-knowledge about Cloud solutions, IT-security, infrastructure, integrations, etc
• Knowledge and experience in coordinating projects and activities in an agile setup
• Experience of digitalization & information management
• Experience of IT systems in the People & Culture area is an advantage
• Service Manager for Safety & Health requires seniority and proficiency in Swedish
