Service Portfolio Manager for Infrastructure Services

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The IT infrastructure department in Scania develops and delivers all necessary components and services in on-premises and cloud based infrastructure for use of global application development and deployment. Just now we are looking for an inspirational leader to take the development and control of our global infrastructural services to a new level.

As Service Portfolio Manager for IT Infrastructure you will secure the control and coherent development for the full range of Infrastructure Services in the department, covering services spanning from servers, network, storage up to database, web and Cloud Services. We will develop this role going forward as part of our Agile Transformation, and seek your active contribution in shaping the future of this role.

You will work with Infrastructure Service Owners, our Management and other experts to drive the planning, development and control of the Service Portfolio in support of our Strategies and business needs and secure collection, aggregation and follow-up of Key Indicators for our Infrastructure Service Delivery

You work amongst other will cover:


• Secure cross-team Service Roadmap work in an Agile fashion to secure service development according to Business Plan and Strategies.
• Overall cost/revenue follow-up on top level view for the Infrastructure Portfolio.
• Service Follow-up based on KPIs.
• Convener for the departmental Infrastructure Services Portfolio Meeting
• Capacity Planning follow-up (invoicing against budget) on Infrastructure business services.
• Support Pricing model and internal cost compensation
• Represent the department in various service governance forums and improvement groups
• Support the development of this role in a dynamic organisation that is rapidly growing in Cloud based offerings and 3rd party Managed Services

 

Your profile

You are eager, inspire teams, apply Servant Leadership principals, and are known for creativity and new ideas. You have a relevant academic education or equivalent work experience in the area of work, good overall understanding and likely earlier experience of Service Management and financial control for infrastructure services.

You can communicate easily at any level in the organisation and likes to operate in a multicultural international environment with respect for the individual. Likely you are ready for your next move in your career, seeking a department level responsibility and an environment that will support your development.

You are fluent in English and good at Swedish, both oral and in writing.
