Your customers are global, and your team covers the world. Your focus is to provide your customers with an optimal lifecycle experience from ABB motors and generators.
The Motors & Generators Service Sales Unit in Sweden provides services and aftersales support to the worldwide installed base of large motors and generators manufactured in Västerås. We work together with ABB units around the world to serve customers and end-users of our motors and generators. Enabling customers to properly care for their motors and generators throughout a long and reliable life is a great contribution to sustainability in the market.
You will lead your team of 5 direct reports and combine it with covering one global region or market yourself, providing great opportunities for international experience.
Your responsibilities
You will head up the sales team that are responsible to sell and promote the entire service portfolio for large motors and generators
The main target is to grow top line sales by proactive and strategic sales efforts by you and your team
You are responsible for setting and achieving annual sales budgets, and breaking them down per account and team member
Developing systematic sales activities and forecasting with accuracy are essential to meet and exceed the targets
As the role is partially operational you a high say-do ration and leadership by example is crucial
Other important tasks are assurance of full compliance to ABB code of conduct and integrity as well as health and safety standards
You live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring your colleagues and the business

Your background
A university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
At least 5 years’ experience in sales, with sales management being a plus
A service minded personality and a strong customer focus
Structured and communicative with full commitment to integrity
Good product knowledge of ABB synchronous motors & generators and their applications is a strong advantage
