Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the World. Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in UK, Ireland, Nordics and other European Markets. Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas “profitable growth” strategy.
As Service Sales Manager you will have overall commercial responsibility for our customers across a number of revenue streams – selling of new projects, fleet optimization products, Multibrand service contracts, fleetwide renewals and new service products being developed.
You will own the customer relationship in relation to these and be responsible for improving the customer’s overall business case based on Vestas’ offerings. You will be working with a strong internal team who engage with account on various levels and in a department with a flexible and open work environment. You will be joining a wider team of Sales Managers across Northern and Central Europe.

Responsibilities
Build and facilitate good customer relationships
Seek out business opportunities from your accounts
Maintain a very good view of your accounts building revenue pipelines
Win, negotiate and close sales of new turbines, fleet optimisation, Multibrand contracts and other products such as Utopus Insights
Build commercial business cases and offers for internal and external sales
Coordinate all aspects of the service sales processes to contract closure including pricing and internal approval
Position Vestas as the preferred supplier with our Key Accounts


Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar
Experience in sales or managing customer accounts, ideally within a comparable market
A good knowledge and experience of working with contracts
Experience in the power generation or similar business sectors
Knowledge of the Wind Industry will be counted as advantage
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Very good English in speech and writing

Able to coordinate multiple projects with different stakeholders
Good communication skills: verbally, written and presenting
Commercial insight with sound cost and risk awareness
Willingness to travel 4-8 days per month

Additional information
The position will be located at Vestas’ office in Malmö, Sweden, or Arhus, Denmark though other European location might be acceptable for the right candidate.
This position requires approximately 8 days of travel monthly. Travel to European countries is required and potentially further on certain occasions.
