Serviceability Lead Engineer

As Serviceability Lead Engineer you will be part of our creative and dynamic global Service Engineering team, taking responsibility for the serviceability deliverables in the vehicle projects, from concept stage through design release and verification. The work is performed in close cooperation with the Method & Standard time expert and Method & Standard time engineers as well as CEVT R&D and the aftersales team in Hangzhou and Gothenburg.

You will report directly to the Director Service Engineering.

The position is new and provides ample opportunity to work with the engineering related topics in close connection with the markets.

You will need Develop a Serviceability strategy for a competitive Service cost of ownership and profitable global aftersales business. The work includes the follow up of and communications of set strategies, making sure that the serviceability requirements are taken care of within R&D, as well as the workshop repair information development and communication.

The position is based in Gothenburg but with a Global responsibility. The position will require travel on regular basis.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Making sure that the Service cost of ownership attribute is well balanced in all vehicle projects
- Making sure that the serviceability aspects are taken care of in R&D projects
- Together with the serviceability senior engineer train engineers with a multicultural background to become fully independent team players developing a competitive service cost of ownership and profitable global aftersales business
- Develop a Serviceability strategy for a competitive Service cost of ownership and profitable global aftersales business

Requirements

- B.Sc. or several years of relevant experience 
- Networking, communicative with business acumen and mind-set
- Structured and used to summarize and present the status of your work
- See problems as challenges and look for solutions
- At least 10 years experience from different Aftersales areas combined with strategic mind-set
- Experience in Project management.
