What you'll do?
In the role as SSC manager Europe at Veoneer, you will be in the front seat having the ultimate responsibility when it comes to developing and leading employees, processes, routines and systems.

You will work in an international matrix organization where you report to the head of Corporate Control Europe with 3 direct reporting local teams; AP, AR and Support Team (Master Data and GL)
With your accounting expertise, you will support the teams as well as other stakeholders within the company.

This position is also included as part of the European financial management team as process owner for selected processes throughout Europe.

You are ultimately responsible for

- Lead and support the SCC organization, both personnel/team development, daily operations and future strategies .
- Ensure fast and high-quality accounting and reporting of transactions handled by SSC
- Continuous process improvements and standardization
- Monitor and update SOX matrix
- Ensure compliance with US-GAAP statutory guidelines




What you'll bring

You are a highly self-motivated, driven, proactive and business oriented team player with analytical problem-solving capabilities. But you are also able to communicate, motivate and interact with local teams, European Finance teams and divisional management

As a manager, we believe that you have a great interest in your personnel and teams. You have a will to take the team forward in a changing environment and encourage innovation as well as a focus on collaboration and developing of people.

You have a relevant university degree in Economics and/or Business Management and multi-year leadership preferably within a Shared Service Center. You have solid experience in accounting, if you also have experience from US GAAP and/or SOX, it is extremely meritorious.

As Veoneer operates in an international environment, we see that you are fluent in English in both speech and writing.
