To succeed in this role, you have been working with visual merchandising and interior management/design on different levels and consider yourself as an expert in this area. You have previous experience from a retail environment, and preferably from home furnishing and or different retailers. Moreover, you have proven advanced training in different planning and drawing tools such as AutoCAD . SketchUp and Revit. It is a requirement that you have been working both with the planning and execution of visual merchandising.
We do also believe that you demonstrate strong project management skills and have the ability to create inspirational presentations where you are selling your ideas. In addition, you are fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Shop Design Specialist, your main task is to design the retail spaces. You are responsible for creating innovative range presentation solutions that contribute to a growing IKEA business and inspire our customers to purchase and discover new solutions for their life at home. You will be a great contributor to the customer experience in our stores and positioning IKEA as a leading company in home furnishing trends.
You will also collaborate and support our 30 markets in creating a visually stimulating and engaging shopping experience and work cross functional within Ingka Group and other IKEA businesses. Supporting the development of our business plan and ensure that all initiatives are supporting long-term profitability.
It is a permanent role, located in Malmö at our office in Hyllie, Hubhult.

This role is a part of IKEA Retail (within Ingka Group) and more specific Market Support.
