Overall description of role
The site manager is responsible for the day-to-day production work in the workplace regarding the progress of the project and the daily operations. The site manager ensures that the work is performed according to the work schedule approved by the Client.
Detailed description of role and specific responsibilities
· Is responsible to manage the manpower, the machinery and equipment to be addressed to work places on site;
· Performs the work on site according to the schedule received by the Construction Manager and according to internal procedure he should draw up a detailed and daily work schedule on the basis of the main one;
· Tracks and monitors project progress;
· Oversees daily operations;
· Provides to annotate and record the worked hours;
· Responsible to keep in order the site and monitor the stocks of the materials;
· Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and work machines that enter the workplace meet Trafikverket's contract requirements, and that all operators have certificates for the work machines;
· Continuously updates the machine and vehicle list and ensures that all vehicles entering the workplace are registered;
· The site manager may delegate the task to other personnel, but ensures that the task is performed;
· Performs the work on site after the preparation of detailed and daily work schedule;
· Site manager is responsible for storing waste disposal sites on the APD plan;
· Is responsible for establishing transport documents;
· Is responsible for ensuring that the regulations according to the chemicals routine are followed out on each site;
