This is how you could have an impact
As Site Solution Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the factory’s entire IT landscape. You will focus on proposing solutions that solve Tuve’s strategic issues thanks to our backbone and to the digital layer that is still to be developed. You will be part of the Digital Delivery Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Purchasing organization and will report to the Tuve & Kaluga Delivery Manager.


Some highlights:
Create a comprehensive IT landscape, maintain the documentation
Support the simplification of our IT landscape and the acceleration of digital deliveries
In collaboration with your teammate Business Analyst, propose IT solution that support business processes and bring efficiency
Secure the full usage of existing capabilities of our implemented IT solutions
Boost citizen development by securing easy access to data
Help in creating a data-driven culture and in implementing efficient data management
Develop roadmaps and helps ensure that IT investments are aligned with our strategy
Identifies possible 3rd party vendor solution and leads the technical evaluation
Take an active part in all projects impacting the IT landscape of Tuve
Represent Tuve in the different architecture network in the Volvo Group
Contribute to make Tuve best in class in Cybersecurity
Represent IT in the Strategic Team of Tuve that work with long term plan for the plant

Skills and experience? Ideally, you have most of this, maybe less, and probably something more:
Manufacturing processes knowledge
Foundational IT architectures and technologies
Experience in project management
Business analysis & Data management skills
Leadership skills and communication skills
Good understanding of IT Service Delivery models and roles (ITIL or SMD internal Volvo)
Provides critical thinking

This is us, the IT community in Tuve
Our ambition is to solve problems and add business value through IT and effective use of existing applications, new technologies and innovation. We fully own all IT related issues and contributes to reach the factory targets as an integrated part of operations. This goes from fixing day-to-day incidents enabling the line to produce full speed, up to build the IT roadmap for the coming years. In short, we work with support, incident and problem management, continuous improvement, projects and requests management from our users. We cover the full scope of IT from Infrastructure operation, Applications support to Projects and implementation. Digitalization is a new focus and is an excellent opportunity for us to learn cool stuff and maybe even get smarter.
We are located in the plant in daily contact with our users.
The community is composed of Solution key users, Business Analysts, Solution and Delivery leaders, developers and support technicians from Group IT Solution Unit M&L, Group IT IOS, GTO Tuve and GTO Digital & IT.
