Job Description:
Site STA Engineer
Major position responsibilities are:
Drive and improve manufacturing excellence at the supply base.
Support Sourcing for Quality, Sourcing Strategy and Resourcing.
Support Strategic Commodity Teams and Global Councils as requested.
Review Supplier Q1 Mfg Site Assessment & Follow up / Drive Action Plan.
Provide on-site support at selected suppliers.
Review and approval of PPAP for New Parts introduction.
Support ongoing capacity verification/improvement actions.
Drive 8D resolution on identified issues.
Support 6 Sigma, Lean deployment activities.
Monitor, Verify & Drive continuous improvement (QOS/4Q implementation).
Support Stop Ship investigation and documentation / Schedule and conduct
FASS reviews.
Conduct Supplier Reviews / Support suppliers with disputed QR's/Rejects.
Support Warranty Reduction activities.
Manage Mulitiple Supplier Sites/Commodities.
Manage Global Suppllier database for selected suppliers.
Qualifications:
Education on university level or equivalent experience.
Be experienced in production/production technique, design and quality.
Be proficient in English.
Have knowledge about quality tools such as APQP & PPAP.
Have knowledge about VPDS & FPDS and quality systems (QS9000/TS16949).
Experience within STA or components development/sourcing is an asset for
the position.
Personal profile:
Good communication and cooperation skills are highly appreciated.
Have a strong drive to reach results.
High social skills and customer focus.
Ability to listen and coach.
Ability to manage multiple items at the same time without loosing focus or quality.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work within a multidiscipline / multicultural team.
Language skills: English, preferred French / Other Eu Languages
