Software Application Developer to Aveva

AVEVA AB in Malmoe is now looking for a Software Application Developer. As a Software Application Developer you will be responsible for development and maintenance within the AVEVA Marine product. You will be following development guidelines such as requirements and design specifications, coding and quality assurance. Also following master schedules coordinated with updates, urgent deliveries, main releases and project deliveries. Your work requires travelling and contact with customers as they visit the office. Your main tasks will be: -Software development with C++, MS Visual Studio and with Microsoft based development environments. -Development within a comprehensive 3D CAD/CAM-system -Maintenance the existing software systems in different languages. -New development with C++ in Visual Studio. For this position it is required that you have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related engineering field. This position requires minimum three year experience of software development and having gone through one or more full project cycles of specification, design, development, testing and rollout. Experience in large-scale application development, math, geometry or CAD library. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written. To be proficient in this position you possess strong problem-solving analysis skills and remain calm and stable in stressful situations. You are flexible, motivated and effective. You are able to work in cooperation with others, possess strong sense of responsibility, are able to work independently and are willing to travel occasionally.
