Software Architect

In Linköping, we’re developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What You´ll Do:
You will develop and design software architecture and guidelines within our customer projects taking the requirements into account so that the best possible architecture driven solution is found as you strengthen our cross-functional teams with experience and interest in software engineering.

In your role, you will work with analysis of requirements from external and internal customers as well as analysis and development of architecture and software design, with a special emphasis on risk levels and functional safety.

As a software architect you align and cooperate with colleagues from various disciplines (test, system, software, hardware and architecture) where you all together contribute to a complete product.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

- Experience of software architecture design

- Good knowledge in embedded software design and implementation, preferable C/C++

- Experience in agile software development methodology

- Leadership and communication skills

- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Experience in software engineering
- Experience in team lead, coordination, project management


Meritorious

- Experience from the automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems (ISO 26262)
- Knowledge in Autosar and microcontroller architecture
- Knowledge of automotive functional safety and security
- Knowledge of vehicle communication such as CAN / Automotive Ethernet (TCP/IP)


Education
- University degree with focus on software, systems, electronics or equivalent
