Software Configuration Manager As Software Configuration Manager you will be part of our IT-team that is responsible for providing the rest of the company with high quality and effective services.The Configuration Manager is main responsible for the CM tools we use, such as AccurevT, Visual Source Safe and a number of internal support software.The main tool AccurevT is one of the most advanced CM tools existing supporting Ascade to perform the massive parallel development that is required to support customer demands.The CM is involved in the development projects as well as the customer projects supplying them with builds, development and customer streams, CM support and other core services.As Carrier Cockpit supports the very complex and demanding international interconnect business, we work in a very challenging and complex system environment, with diverse system platforms, large amounts of reference and operational data and numerous interconnected system modules, API's and interfaces.Requirements As the CM role often is very dependant of how the different companies run their software development we do not require the applicant to have vast experience for CM work but some general CM understanding is definitely needed.Our requirements are: .Having a passion for working as a Configuration Manager in a complex environment..Academic degree in computer science or related field..Programming and some relational databases (SQL) knowledge..Ability to use own initiative.Although not required but meriting is experience from: .Working as a CM..AccurevT..RUP or other iterative development processes..Telecom or business operation software.
