Ericsson in Linköping, Sweden focuses on the development of radio network control within mobile systems.The development departments in Linköping work with central parts of Ericsson's mobile systems, the next generation of mobile systems, products for residential mobile broadband, operations and maintenance systems, simulators and test environment for the delivery of products.The Linköping unit also carries out research for mobile networks of the future.We are looking for both experienced staff and new graduates with a lot of drive to work in the following area.Job description We are looking for software designers for areas ranging from GUI development to real-time systems development.As a software designer, you will work with system analysis and design, software implementation in C/C++ or Java and basic testing in simulated environments.Our work is, in some areas, done by agile SW development methods.Who are you?We are looking for both experienced staff and new graduates with a lot of drive to work with us.Qualification: .Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent formal education with experience in software programming.Requested competence: .Proven design experience with C, C++ and/or Java..Good English communication skills and analytical capacity..Ability to work in teams but also ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.Important skills are creativity, flexibility, accuracy and perseverance..Have an interest to constantly learn and share your new findings..You should be familiar with working both in Windows and UNIX development environment..Experience in database design and implementation is good but not a requirement.
