The essence of the role
As a member of a dedicated engineering team you will play an important part in building the next generation BSS system for the company. You will work in direct contact with the product side to describe and implement the solutions for their needs and requirements. With a flat structure, agile methodologies and high pace you will play an important role in the engineering team to help Sinch serve many of our top Fortune-500 customers. In this role, you will get a chance to work with Microservices and cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, GRPC etc.
Each team is responsible for the delivery and quality of their code. We break down epics we get from the product owners into stories and tasks and then decide ourselves how we implement this in the best possible way. You will get a chance to collaborate with other teams, both with our local as well as global offices.
As our Software Developer you will:
Independently taking requirements in the form of user stories and writing well documented, tested, robust, stable and scalable software code.
Develop and execute Unit tests and Integration tests and participate and contribute in Team’s backlog analysis and estimating effort and complexity for items in backlog.

You will be based in our Kalmar office – a 100% tech office with 60 people with great energy and spirit. Our team is divided in smaller sub-teams of four people in each team – specializing in different areas. This means you will have more say and influence on the direction of the team and more ownership. We are a quite unique company in Kalmar – a product company with a global presence!
Who are you?
In order to contribute in this role we see that you have:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in backend development.

Big plus!
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:
Experience in Java, SQL,Spring boot, React, Rest.
Knowledge of DevOps.
Experience working with Kanban, GRPC.
