An opportunity to join the Nasdaq Post Trade Clearing product teams. You will have to opportunity to both learn from others in the teams as well as share your knowledge with others. The product you will work with is vast and sophisticated, which will offer technical challenges, and the opportunity to choose tasks based on your interest and expertise.


As a Software Developer, you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high-quality software, with ever-increasing performance requirements, and simultaneously contribute to improving agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.
Your role and responsibilities:


Designing solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality
Involvement in all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement
Always consider performance implications when developing and refactoring code
Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives, and time estimation of features and change requests
Give continuous feedback to other developers, architects, testers, as well as Project Managers


We're looking for someone with:


A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related fields
2-6 years of work experience in relevant fields
Excellent Java (8 & 11) and Spring skills and proven work experience
Passion for building great products and delivering to businesses and customers.
Ability to engage and collaborate closely with peers, external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders


It would be great if you have:


Experience from working in a cross-functional team in an agile way
Front-end development work experience
