Software Developer C++ Cloud Services

Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer with an interest in media streaming!

You will be part of a team of experienced developers specialised in CDN and video streaming. Together with the team, you will design and build cutting edge products and functionality - enabling new innovative ways of watching streaming TV for millions of people.

The team's main focus is our StreamPilot product, an innovative cloud service that controls multi-CDN delivery. The development takes place in our centrally located Stockholm office.

In your daily work you will develop code and make design judgements in solutions connected to HTTP streaming, CDN routing, GUI and high-performance cloud applications. Technologies you will be using are typically C++17, Python 3.6, JavaScript, Linux, networking, Jenkins, Cloud, Terraform, Docker & Kubernetes.

The StreamPilot team is working according to DevOps methodology, meaning that they are working with all parts of the development lifecycle – all the way from designing and developing the code to deploying and operating the service in production.

This role includes being part of a rotating on-call schedule which means that you are on-call roughly 1 week per quarter.

- M.Sc. in computer science, engineering or similar
- Experience in C++, Python and preferably Linux and JavaScript
- DevOps experience is an advantage
- Experience developing applications in public clouds such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is desirable
- Analytical mindset and ability to design complex systems
- Swedish or English in both speech and writing
- Work permit in Sweden/EU
