About the group Systems & Architecture, 6260 The Mechatronics & Software Group (6260) provides expertise in Systems and Software Engineering. As System Engineers, we have the focus on higher abstraction levels of vehicle related systems and work typically with requirements management, system modeling and system analysis. Our Software Engineering focus is at developing PC-based application tools, whose use is related to the vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs). We apply our competence mainly in the following domains Functional Safety Model Based Development Electronic system architecture Uptime Management including diagnostics, tools & data mining We are located at Lundbystrand (M2) About the position Now, the group would very much like to welcome a new qualified software engineer that wants to develop the next generation of tools for performing vehicle diagnostics. You will: develop Windows-based applications using Microsoft Visual Studio or other IDEs design Software Architecture work with vehicle data communication technology, like CAN, MOST and FlexRay We work in projects and in close cooperation with our customers. It is therefore important that you enjoy working in teams. At VTEC you will have the opportunity to develop your competence by deepening it in one application domain and by broadening it by working in different domains. You will also be given the opportunity to increase your competence by changing between Research, Advanced Engineering and Product development projects.
