Software Engineer

Key responsibilities
As Software Engineer, you and the team will develop innovative frontend solutions by:
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software
• Building and packaging reusable code and libs for future use
• Supporting UI/UX with technical feasibility
• Optimizing code for performance and scalability
• Collaborating with team members and other teams
• Being able to communicate API requirements to backend teams

Tools you will be playing with are
React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS (Sass), Go, C#, PostgreSQL, AWS

Requirements
• A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Extensive experience working with multiple programming languages (Go, Node.js, Java)
• Extensive experience working with frontend development (Typescript, Javascript, React, CSS)
• Motivation for developing great user experiences
• Experience of agile development
• You are fluent in English, and other language skills are beneficial
• Open to travel if needed for specific activities

The ideal candidate will also need experience in and understanding of the development of distributed systems, micro services, and Amazon Web Services. You can display that you are able to learn multiple programming languages and be able to demonstrate knowledge in writing systems for large scale solutions.

Additional information
The position holder will be located in Gothenburg and the position reports to Michael Malmqvist, Line Manager – Product Ownership.
