Software Engineer

Your role

You will join a proficient development team and will be working with the latest technologies in electronic warfare. You will contribute to our product portfolio of applications supporting the electronic warfare systems in its real environment as well as in our test environments. You are interested and passionate about software development. You are curious and willing to learn and develop yourself.

As a developer on Tactical Software, you will help us to further improve our products as well as our organization with the following qualities.

Your profile

Require skills:

* Have a masters degree in Computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
* Have experience in software engineering
* Have good skills in programming with Java and C++
* Are fluent in Swedish and English

Desired skills:

* Have knowledge within DevOps tools, such as Maven, Jenkins, Git
* Have understanding of agile development
* Are a proactive and reliable team player with good communications skills

What you will be a part of

The EW Systems business unit provides world class signal intelligence systems and self-protection systems for next generation Gripen and Globaleye. We are now looking for a skilled and encouraging software developer to strengthen our Integration Software section.

The Tactical Software section consists of highly skilled and driven software engineers. We are primarily working with cutting edge technology within Electronic Warfare. Our products are developed and maintained by our development teams, supporting both internal and external customer within Electronic Warfare. Our development teams are high performance, working in an agile environment with distributed responsibilities. We are continuously striving towards a DevOps environment, binding our toolchain with planning, issue tracking, source control and build environment together in a tight loop.

At Tactical Software our teams develop and maintain our products within signal intelligence. Our product portfolio covers analysis of recordings and real time feeds, big data, databases, secure user transactions, amongst many other things.
