SenseAir AB is a Swedish world leading company in the development and production of NDIR (non dispersive infra-red) gas sensors. We are currently seeking to employ two qualified engineers to join the steady growing projects and challenges in our expanding company.

Software Engineer (embedded micro controllers).
Work description:
As our Software Engineer you will hold a key role in the development of a new product and its production system. The product is a mixed signal system with stable acquisition of small signals and is based on 8-bit microcontroller. The successful candidate will work as part of a team together with hardware and software designers, quality assurance responsible, product development responsible, test and production engineers and external consultants. Further duties/responsibilities include:
- Specification, design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of
software of meters and production system
- Development of algorithms
- Hardware/software integration
- Test, evaluation and verification of hardware, software modules and entire
system
- Trouble shooting during development, verification and production stages
Education /basis.
You should have good knowledge in and, experience of, embedded programming.
We also see that you have experience of analogue and digital electronics design, that you are interested in experimental physics / mathematics. Experience of
development of systems/software for car applications is a merit. You should be interested in providing predictable development results and time projections in solving development problems. Good English language communication and writing
skills are required.
Mandatory merits:
- 5 or more years experience in embedded processors programming in
assembler and C
Desirable but not mandatory merits:
Knowledge and experience in
- Standards and implementation of car communication protocols like LIN
- Mixed signal electronic design knowledge
- Quality assurance of embedded software Methods and standards of tests of
software.
