Software Engineer

The Dave team is responsible for development and maintenance of the software components DAVE, DIG and UDM.Jeppesen has several important customer deliveries in 2007 that will be relying on Dave for data storage.We are now looking to expand the Dave team with two experienced software engineers.The positions will be filled as soon as possible and will be based in our Göteborg office.This is a challenging development and not your 'average database project'.We are setting new standards in providing complete audit support, customizability, data models for advanced scenario support and high performance.Work Areas: .Development of the Dave components .Testing and debugging .Design of new functionality .Researching design alternatives .Achieving high software quality level .Documentation of the components Qualifications: .Strong software development experience .Solid C/C++ programming experience .Good UNIX/Linux skills .Preferably Java programming experience .Good English skills .Team spirit .Desire for excellence .Good analytical skills .Preferably Python programming and database experience Please e-mail your application (CV and a covering letter) marked 'Software Engineer - Dave' to jobs.goteborg (at) jeppesen.com by February 4, 2007, at the latest.
