Software Engineer - DevOps Tooling

Software Engineer - DevOps Tooling

Arbetsbeskrivning

Polestar is currently looking for a team member for our Developer Productivity team within Digital Enablement. You will get a chance to work with the latest SaaS products, making them fit into the Polestar ecosystem and our way of working.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

The purpose of the Developer Productivity team - Digital Enablement Area is to enhance agile & technical collaboration for teams working within Polestar. The team handles tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Aha & Miro - with the common denominator to bring people together around collaborative product development. In the hybrid workspace we offer, these capabilities are a glue that connects teams & people. The team is a shared service but also works with stakeholders with very specific needs. The team works with enhancing the capabilities but also with technical agile coaching focusing on helping teams utilize our services in a better way.

What you will do

As an Engineer in this team, you will work with several SaaS products, making them fit into the Polestar ecosystem and our way of working, as well as making them compliant with our security policies. The aim is no manual user admin or license provisioning, so you need to have a true interest in automating repetitive tasks. In this role, you will work with both tool configurations but also user support & technical agile coaching for the tools provided.

Tasks you will be accountable for:

- Tooling configuration to fit Polestar ways of working
- Ensure optimized usage of SaaS tooling
- Collaborate with the Polestar user community
- Implement security & compliance policies
- Refine & estimate stories
- Contribute with continuous improvement ideas for the team backlog

Who you are

We are looking for you who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, find new solutions and drive out-of-the-box ideas, and who love and embraces change. In Polestar we believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust, to fit into the team you share those values with us. It comes naturally to you to drive innovation and empower others to fail, learn, and grow. For you, it is no problem to “roll up the sleeves” and seek to go outside the comfort zone to learn and push teams to do the same. Besides strong communication skills, you are an excellent listener who is keen to gather and use input from the team.

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

- Experience in working with shared services/platform products with a high degree of self-service for users
- Tech-savvy with interest in DevOps tooling
- Strong collaborator mindset
- Experience in working with modern SaaS technologies supporting a cloud-native, agile / DevOps environment

At Polestar, you will be part of a cross-functional and international team, with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication. Since Polestar’s in a scale-up phase you thrive by working in a fast-paced environment.
