Software Engineer-Embedded Systems If you want to be part of a team in Gothenburg where forthcoming security solutions are created, ASSA ABLOY may be your future employer.They need a skilled person for development of communication platforms for locking and access control applications.We are looking for two embedded software engineers with broad experience for the Interconnectivity platform team.The object is to provide tomorrow's communication technology based on standardized solutions and platform thinking to our group companies.You will work with both wired and wireless communication technology.Tasks Your main task will be working with the embedded system platforms.Your daily tasks will include customer contacts.You will have the general view of what is ongoing within the embedded system area.The position involves travel activities. Experience The Interconnectivity platform team where you will be employed is a small team of about 10 members with a frank atmosphere.We are looking for a person with long experience, minimum five years within the embedded system area.You have experience of embedded systems and programming such as: - Embedded System design - Languages: C - General hardware experience - Driver programming (close to the hardware).You are curious about new technology and have probably been in the design principle before.Extra rated skills and experience: - Agile software development - WPAN-Wireless Personal Area Networks - CAN and CAN open - Linux Embedded Programming - Eclipse Your education is most probably as a graduated from university, with a master degree with main subject as electrical or computer science, or similar competence level achieved through long experience from the technology area.Since English is the business language, a high level is required.Your PC skills are certainly advanced. Personality You are a dynamic person, open minded and focused.The work involves taking active part in design and development of platforms where security and reliability is very important.It is therefore important to produce structured and well documented code, easy to maintain and modify.It's essential that you have the ability in a tight team, to listen, translate functional requirements to technical implementation and be constructive in the dialog with team members and costumers.
