Description

As a Software Engineer within the Payment Area, you will be a part of a small cross-functional and cross-competent team. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Owner, other Business Experts, Software Engineers and Data Analysts. The team´s responsibility is end-to-end within the product area - “you build it, you run it!”.

As a Software Engineer you will be involved in setting the team´s Objectives & Key Results, mission statement, exploring business and customer needs, identifying new products and features as well as improving the existing ones. Our vision is to deliver a cross channel payment experience so smooth and simple that our customers leave with a smile.

You will work within the Payments area with great opportunity to impact a big organization including all brands.

Work tasks:

- POC (point of contact) for our Loss Prevention Management System (LPMS), making sure its up and running.
- Collecting and providing Requirements for new dev of LPMS
- Driving new development for LPMS system(s)
- Verifying/support with testing done in Point Of Sale (POS) Loss prevention system and POS log files (POSlog)
- Troubleshooting POSlogs
- Incident management - creating, investigation, prioritization, escalation etc
- Scrum Master - ceremonies/planning


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Knowledge of SQL beneficial
- Knowledge of programming languages (eg python, .NET etc) beneficial
- Familiar with Cloud Services (eg Azure)


Preferred competence and experience:

- Prior experience with Point Of Sale (POS) systems beneficial
- Must have prior experience with agile way of working
- Must have prior experience acting as Scrum master


Preferred personal qualities:

- Ability to communicate about problems and solutions to both conceptual and technical level
- Ability to work in High pace environment
- We have an Agile WoW and organisation is new, so a flexible mindset is important. We are on a journey and all questions cannot be answered about wow etc.

Language skills:

- Have very good speaking and writing skills in English
