Arvato offers customers payment solutions that make everyday life easier! Delivering a reliable and wonderful shopping experience, both for retailers and end customers, makes us proud but not satisfied. Our ambition is higher and now we have a great opportunity for a software developer to join our growing team based in Stockholm. To give you a quick insight, our technical department has over 100 developers structured in 15 domain teams. Software developers at Arvato work closely with product experts, designers and other roles as needed, so that each team can take full responsibility for their specific products. The team is given the freedom to make their own decisions regarding product, technology and process. For you as a Software Engineer, we offer the time required to focus on your craft, and plenty of room to shape what we do going forward. Our ambition is to give you the best possible start with us with the opportunity to grow yourself. Your immediate managers are technically strong, have very practical experience and take the time to set up a development plan that suits you. In the role of Software Engineer, you will be part of our buy-now-pay-later team where we are now available in nine European markets. As a software developer, you will work on performance improvements of the current application, implement new features and payment methods, improve application quality and write automated tests. A strategic feature of the application is to get from web hosting to the Azure cloud, where you can contribute and customize applications for cloud formation, migration and future adaptations. At Arvato, you will have a flexible working day with the opportunity to work remotely.

In summary, you will work in an exciting role and touch on areas such as:

● Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
● Develop applications in a regulated environment
● Produce the specifications and write program codes
● Facilitate reviews of technical architecture
● Seeks, evaluates and recommends new technology / concepts to add value and develop products / functions

Kvalifikationer
Qualifications:

To fit into the role, you must have a few years of work experience from a similar position. We also see that you as a person are team-oriented and have very good collaboration and communication skills. You have a great drive and you are always eager to learn and develop yourself in the
field. We are now looking for both junior and senior Software Engineers for us and since we are global, your language skills in English are an important factor as we communicate with many nationalities. You will start from the office in Torsgatan, Stockholm.

Requirement:
● At least 4 years experience of working with C # .NET framework
● Knowledge of the Entity Framework
● Experience of developing business logic and backend development with SQL Server
● Knowledge of REST APIs. Good to have knowledge of SOAP Services
● Basic knowledge of UI development with any of the JavaScript frameworks
● Basic knowledge of device testing, integration testing and test automation
● Experience of agile development methodology
● You are fluent in English in speech and writing
