Description

This technical role as a Software Engineer holds a broad spectrum from technical knowledge, configuration and testing to development and functional competences covering SAP SD, MM, NWP, and Web Dynpro ABAP.

- Work with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
- Translate product strategy and objectives into world-class maintainable and scalable solutions
- Collaborate and co-create closely with your Product Owner and other teams




Mandatory competence and experience:

- Experience in agile software engineering with either Kanban or SCRUM
- SAP ABAP development, knowledge about object-oriented design patterns
- NetWeaver & Web Dynpro
- Unit testing with ABAP Unit
- Code reviews in object-oriented ABAP
- Analysing production incidents
- Test automation and integration testing
- Knowledge of integration patterns, IDOCs, QRFC, SAP Cloud PI & Azure
- Solution design & requirements gathering according to RICEFW
- Language skills: English - both written and oral




Preferred competence and experience:

- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence etc.)
- Experience with Tosca/ECT, UFT or other test automation suites
- SAP Gateway / OData Services / Core Data Services / SAP Fiori / UI5
- S/4 HANA Restful Application Programming Model (RAP)




Preferred personal qualities:

- Able to understand and analyze complex information and share it effectively
- Able to work in an international distributed environment with strong cultural diversity
- Able to take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments
