Software Engineers and Project Managers

The Product Development group at Jeppesen Systems in Göteborg is looking for professionals with Software Development background as well as experienced Project Managers.Software Engineers: You will be involved in all stages of S.D: analysis, design, construction, testing, documentation and maintenance.You will be working with experienced developers, having regular interaction with the other component groups.Qualifications: .Bachelor's degree or equivalent .Software Development experience .Good English language skills We are recruiting for the following teams: Studio: Develops user interfaces and tools that allow planners to make the most out of large-scale optimization as well as to manage stressful situations on the day of operation.Applicants should have experience of large scale system development using C++, Unix and/or Java.Knowledge in usability design and Python is desirable.InterBids: A web-based communications application that allows crew to influence their work schedule.Applicants should have experience in J2EE design and architecture, MVC frameworks, JSP, XSL, JavaScript, XML, servlets, Enterprise Beans and persistence technologies.Infrastructure: Develops system components that support and control our applications.Applicants should have experience in C++, Java, Java servlets and systems with high uptime requirements.Preferably also knowledge of Unix/Linux architecture and aspects of network programming, such as SSH/TLS and Kerberos.DAVE: The system's Data Management component, providing a highly reliable common data store within our integrated Tracking and Crew Management solutions.The team is providing complete audit support, customizability, data models for advanced scenario support and high performance.Applicants should have a strong database background, development skills in C++ and Python and preferably also framework development experience.Project Managers: We are looking for professionals with at least five years of Project Management experience.Full project life cycle and project management methodology experience is vital.You will have full responsibility for ensuring that your projects deliver to time, budget and quality including managing resource allocation.You will report on progress, risks and issues to management and interact at all levels including the senior leadership team.You are currently working as a Project Manager within the Software Development, Automotive, Telecoms, IT or Management Consulting industries and have at least a Bachelor's degree.You are passionate about Project Management, structured and analytical:a driving force who enjoys leading an international team.You have strong negotiating skills with the proven ability to get things done.You have the ability to drive the evolution of this role with minimal supervision.Mark subject line 63:1 and the position you apply for.e.g.'63:1 Software Engineer - Studio', or '63:1 Project Manager'.Include a note on where you found the reference to this ad.
