You will be based in Porcia in our multinational and diverse Connectivity Module team, together with IoT & Platform Services, Software Quality Assurance, Digital Architecture Teams, all part of Group of Digital Engineering
About us
As a Software IoT Engineer you will be joining the Global Technology Organization team in Porcia (Italy) reporting to Appliance Digital Identity Lead. We are a team of highly qualified engineers with strong industrial, supporting development of new platforms and services globally and across categories.
Your role is to design firmware for innovative embedded systems for connected consumer appliances with significant security requirements. You will be assigned to develop new products/modules/systems and improve currently used technologies and methods.

About the role
•C/C++ Software development
•Develop software for RTOS based systems
•Debug and test
•Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex testing issues and solve problems with little or no supervision
•Passion for high code quality, test-driven design and high automation in testing
•Take care of documentation
Qualifications:
•Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar fields
•Superb knowledge in C/C++ language programming
•Python language programming
•Knowledge of software development life cycle is a plus: coding standards and best practices, code reviews, source control management (Git), build processes (CI/CD), testing and release
•Experience as a firmware developer for RTOS systems
•Experience within open-source projects, also for personal interests,
•Experience in projects using Wi-Fi, Ble, Zigbee
•Knowledge in networking programming
•Knowledge and experience on computer networks, networking and TCP/IP protocols
•Knowledge in cyber security is a plus
•Knowledge of SW tools like Jenkins, Jira, … is a plus
