Are you an experienced Software Quality Engineer or a development engineer with good leadership skills and ready for a new challenge?

We are dedicated to electrifying our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At Vehicle Propulsion, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems, Electric Drive and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.

As Software Quality Assurance Engineer within the group Forward Model Quality, you will be responsible to assess (measure) the quality of work products and facilitate that potential SW quality problems are identified as early as possible in the development process both for in house development teams and supplier.

Main responsibilities

* Assure that the defined SW processes and methods are used and that their related work products (such as requirement documents, plans etc.) are developed with intended quality
* Proactively act and recommend activities and decisions that affect the project’s ability to reach defined targets.
* Support the Project Leaders to identify and manage the items and assignments that lead to that the project’s quality targets, checkpoints and key activities are fulfilled
* Provide internal training in SW Engineering and Quality Assurance where needed
* Review processes, procedures, templates, and report deviations and lacks in the definition of processes, procedures etc.
* Assist in maintenance and development of processes, procedures, templates etc.


You and your skills

You prefer an analytical, structured and open-minded way of working. You will use your communication and teamwork skills when building networks.

* B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Automation or equivalent. M.Sc. is considered meritorious
* Experience from software development methodology.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Ability to drive change and implementation
* Engaged and ability to encourage people



Meritorious
* Profound knowledge of SW and/or HW engineering
* Quality Assurance experience
* Knowledge of SW maturity models (e.g. Automotive SPICE)
