We are a group of talented developers and testers who work agile under the SAFe framework in an open and energetic work environment where we continuously strive for improvement and welcome all kind of new and creative ideas.

We are now looking for a Software Test Engineer that will join one of the software teams developing, testing and releasing software for the charging system as part of our electrified cars. The team consists of 10 member, including a product owner and a scrum master, and develops software that control charging and communication with the charging stations.

What you’ll do?

You will be part of a Software team in the Charging ART and take on the responsibility for the verification and validation of the team’s deliveries. You will use different test environments for testing both functional and non-functional requirements. The test environments include, but is not limited to, MIL, SIL, HIL, test bench, and car. We strive to find software issues as early as possible and therefore put a lot of effort in testing in virtual test environments creating models over the requirements.

You will work with automation and utilize the CI chain. As a tester in the team you will take an active part in the whole development process from reviewing the input and implementation, to testing and fault tracing.

You and your skills

You enjoy testing software and you are curious to understand software issues and dig into root causes. You strive to test in virtual test environments as much as possible. People see you as cooperative, transparent with good communication and presentation skills. You are structured, data driven and have good documentation skills. As we are a global company, you need to be proficient in English, both verbal and written.

We believe that our candidate should have completed M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent. You should be proficient in Matlab/Simulink and have knowledge in programming with Python. You have strong experience in development or testing of embedded systems. It would be also beneficial if you have experience with test tool and environment TestWeaver/Silver, Software versioning and review tool Git/Gerrit, as well as have knowledge in AUTOSAR.
