Software Tester & Second Line Support 

Do you have a passion for technology and a knack for finding bugs? Do you enjoy solving problems and helping others? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Software Tester & Second Line Support role! 

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our R&D team in Kalix and work on our products, which include embedded systems in connected devices as well as cloud solutions.  

Key responsibilities 

As a Software Tester & Second Line Support, you will have two main responsibilities: 


• Testing: You will design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. You will also work with the automated testing framework and contribute to its improvement. 
• Support: You will assist our 1st line support with the more complex support cases and provide them with training and guidance. You will also communicate with our markets and other internal functions to resolve issues and provide feedback.  

 In addition, you will participate in writing the technical handbook and improving the processes around testing. 

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications: 

Technical skills:  


• You are not afraid of technology and have a good understanding of software testing principles and tools.  
• You have experience with embedded & connected devices and cloud solutions or are willing to learn. 
• You have experience in writing code (for our testing framework) or are willing to learn. 

Teamwork skills:  


• You are a team player who can collaborate effectively with others and share your knowledge and ideas.  
• You are also able to work independently and take initiative. 

Communication skills:  


• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.  
• You can explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to different audiences.
