Tacton Systems AB, founded in 1998, is a leading international software development company in sales configuration.We have a worldwide strategic collaboration with some of the largest and most highly regarded application providers in the market - the likes of IBM, Lawson, SMARTEAM, Jeeves, SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc.We currently have 40 employees.Tacton ConfiguratorT is our standard software for supporting effective selling of tailor-made module-based products.It is based on many years of research at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS).Our customers are international companies selling telephone exchanges, fans, pumps, lifts, trucks, computer software, industrial gates, medical and biochemical equipment, etc.SolidWorks-specialist for design automation We are looking for SolidWorks specialists to join our technical team for Tacton's revolutionary solution for automating design customisations.We are looking for both experienced and newly qualified staff.We offer good opportunities for working internationally.For the first time, there is now an advanced product configurator deeply integrated in a parametric 3D CAD system.For companies doing customised design, this creates entirely new possibilities for increasing the productivity of design work.Most companies developing advanced products find they have to make customisations to meet customers' varying requirements.A great deal of the designers' time is spent in routine customisations, for example adapting measurements, or new combinations of components.Sometimes this has to be done as early as the offer stage.The company finds it hard to grow, and the designers don't have enough time to further develop the products.TactonWorks is the most advanced product configurator on the market, deeply integrated with parametric 3D modelling in SolidWorks.It helps our customers to dramatically increase the productivity of their design work with SolidWorks.We are offering you a job in our technical team that will inspire and stretch you, give you a good insight into many different design activities, and expand your knowledge at the leading edge of mechanical engineering design.Depending on your background and interests, you might be working on developing and providing training for Tactonworks, or on technical sales support and specialist consultancy helping our customers to implement TactonWorks.Our customers are all over the world, and we sell our solution through the SolidWorks global reseller channel.You must be familiar with SolidWorks and mechanical engineering design.We will be recruiting several people, and are therefore looking both for newly qualified people and people with many years' experience.
